Skirts + Blanket

While I was down in Utah for my break in between semesters, I was a little gun(g?)-ho and was sewing like crazy! it was great. But I made 2 skirts and a Hooker blanket. Thats right everyone, I am dropping out of college and I am now working the corner. :) {just kidding, I really wanted a pink backround but it was more time-consuming to find pink minkie}

Here are the two skirts.... The one on the right is a circle skirt, and the one on the Left is a pleated skirt.
And here is the sexy blanket! My roomies all love it!

Book of Mormon Stories

This is Wendy's amazing quilt she gave to us for Christmas! We LOVE it!!!!!! I have to blog it because I know Wendy won't. Seriously have you ever seen anything so cute!!

And can you believe she made 3 of them, one for me, Rachel and Heidi!! I couldn't believe it when I opened this up I totally got all choked up because I had seen the pattern months ago at the quilt store and said how much I would love a quilt like it but I knew I would never be able to make anything that great. Oh and Roger wrote this sweet little poem on the back, it is such a sweet family present this year!!

Recipe for soup @Christmas party

I had several people ask me for the recipe for soup at the party, so I thought I would post it: Here goes:

Potato Dill Soup

2 T dehydrated onion(or one fresh chopped)
1/2 c. chopped celery
4 T. chicken boullion
4 C water
2- 8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 c diced ham
1-16 oz frozen hash browns
1 T. dill

Boil first 4 ingredients until veggies are tender
Stir in remaining ingredients and heat through.

X-mas runner

Awwww cute, if I do say so myself! I kinda got behind in the runner department, I wanted to do one for every season and all I have dine are Valentines, Easter and now x-mas, hopefully I will get more done this next year!

P.s I totally copies Meg's x-mas quilt so hope you like it meg!

Oaklee's bedding

Here are pictures of my cute crib bedding that Wendy made! The pictures don't really do it justice, it really is so so so cute!
This was my first time doing curtains and I basically just made it up as I went, they turned out okay, I'm such an amature.
The top quilt. I love how it is so big because I can use it with her next bed too.
