Finally!

This was day one with the baby's room, measuring and cutting all the moldings and putting them on the walls, Kyle spent 13 hours in the room that day.
Tons of wood putty and sanding, that was the slowest part!
Kyle decided one night after he finished sanding that he wanted to do a crown molding, he totally taught himself how to do it and it turned out great. Oh, and he HATES painting so I had to get a picture of this, he got up super early on Saturday and painted a bunch for me.
Our kids were such little helpers. I think they're just as happy as we are that it's done.
This is how it turned out, it's so pretty and I can't wait to get all my bedding in, of course Wendy takes all the credit for the bedding but it's going to be so cute. I know it's weird that I didn't do any pink, but I'm not really into pink all that much but don't worry almost every article of clothing I've purchased is pink so she will be plenty girly! Thanks to Rachel for giving me the idea to go with Tiffany's bule I think it turned out so cute!

jill, that room is so DANG cute!!! holy crap I am trying to figure out which room I can redo just like that!!! SUPER CUTE! Are you going to paint your crib? it would look super cute black or cream...spray paint works super good, then if you have a boy next you could always spray it again. LOVE IT

Okay so shut up Jill! It is really really cute!! I am not saying that to be nice or something, because I really love it. And I love the Tiffany's blue, if it looks that cute I am okay with no pink ;) I am with H on the crib, that would look great. She did it to Sophie's crib, it's pink and it looks FAB!

I think later on, if I still want to I might go ahead and refinish the crib and changing table, I've gone back and forth for a while, if I decide to I'll have to find out how you did your's like did you have to sand it down or prime it etc. Thanks guys for the comments it's so fun to hear!!

I don't even know what to say right now other than...WOW!! That room looks seriously fab!!!!!! I love, love, love it!!! It has such a posh look to it too...like something out of the Parade of Homes! Really it is spectacular. As far as the crib goes, you don't have to refinish or prime anything...just spray paint. Trev and I did Jake's crib a while back and it seriously only took about an hour to paint. Easy, easy, easy...and totally makes a huge statement. Great room!
